A Medical Assistant Certified is an integral part of the health care team supporting and carrying out duties assigned, delegated, and/or supervised by a professional (MD, DO, PA, ARNP, RN) within the scope of their license. A critical attribute required of this position is exceptional interpersonal customer services consisting of an outgoing positive attitude, warm friendly joyful demeanor, and the utmost care and reverence for our guests, patients, families, customers and colleagues.


EDUCATION



  1. Education:
    High School Diploma and/or Post-secondary school and successful completion of an accredited Certified

  2. Medical Assistant college program and become certified through by the American Association of Medical Assistants or National Certified Medical assistant examination through the National Center for Competency Testing required.

  3. Population Specifics:
    Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population served in a Clinic setting.

  4. Experience:
    Previous experience in a physician s office preferred.

  5. Required Certification:
    Must have / obtain a current Washington State Medical Assistant Certification. BLS (AHA) Certification required. May also have Medical Assistant-Registered WA State certification and must obtain MA-C accreditation within six months from employment date.

  6. Other:
    Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to work with culturally diverse population

  7. This is designated as a safety-sensitive position


Salary Range:


LPN - $18.08 - $25.31


Medical Assistant Certified - $18.40 - $23.92


Sign On Bonus with
Experience:
(Pro-Rated for Part Time Positions)



  1. $2,000 for 0-2 years of experience

  2. $3,000 for 3-4 years of experience

  3. $4,000 for 4
    years of experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
