Job Overview:
This position provides work alongside leadership to Employment Connection Center teams whose responsibilities include advocacy, and support to individuals with disabilities and disadvantaging conditions so they may achieve their highest level of employment.
Leadership of program initiatives in collaboration with the team and other leaders also included in this scope of work.
Employment Connection Centers to be lead are in College Place, Pasco and Hermiston.
What will you do in this job? Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of programs to offer high quality assistance to clients seeking work.
Develop and execute strategic plans in collaboration with a team to grow and expand Goodwill's Employment Services.
Conduct ongoing needs assessment of gaps in services using data to inform, plan and develop implementation strategies to expand services.
Develop relationships with employers and businesses through regular contact, which includes cold calls to meet established weekly/monthly quotas for employer contacts.
Support and supervise the keeping of up-to-date client and community partner information Understand and abide by funding source contractual regulations, requirements, policies, and procedures.
Actively engage in the development of a commendable workgroup utilizing agency human resource development protocols.
Direct the work of your team in a kind, clear and predictable manner.
Monitor and complete timekeeping tasks in an accurate and timely manner following agency protocols to include but not limited to timecard annotation, leave request completion, schedule posting etc.
Keep current on job trends, industry labor market reports, position openings, and job fairs; communicate those opportunities to clients as well as the rest of the Mission Services team.
Compensation and Benefits Starting rate $27.
50 followed by eligibility for annual performance based increases with a maximum rate of $31.
50 per hour as a result of ongoing good performance and years of service at Goodwill.

Work Environment Work is conducted in an office and computer lab environment primarily but also includes work at community based events.
Anticipate regular travel between the three Employment Connection Center sites:
College Place, Hermiston, Pasco.
Hours are typically Monday through Friday 8 to 4:

However weekend and evening work is required on occasion to meet the needs of business.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
